Inn at Poplar Corner B&B on Chincoteague Island

Friendly host, excellent breakfast, comfortable room including bed and bath. The Inn may look Victorian, but it was actually built in 1995. Within walking distance of at least two fine seafood restaurants and (very important) the Island Creamery.

The air conditioner was noisy, but at least it covered up any traffic noise from Main Street. Please note that if the intent of your visit to Chincoteague is to visit Assateague Beach, it (that is, public access) is in the process of being relocated. Check online for up-to-date information.

Truly nothing, the price was a bargain, for everything included.

Unique with a historic feel, comfortable and clean! Also, walkable to many shops and restaurants on the water.

It was our first stay at a B&B and also my birthday. Julie, the innkeeper, was AMAZING and very friendly and approachable. The breakfast was very tasty and there were many options. Julie was the very first person to wish my happy bday at breakfast. She remembered lol. Also gave me a nice little surprise for my bday. She is a very thoughtful, kind soul. Our world needs more Julies. She is very knowledgable about the island. She is a wealth of information and recommendations. We also had the chance to meet the owner, she is a wonderful lady. We stayed in the main view room and it was exactly as pictured only better.

The only thing that I could say negatively is the pillows could be better. And the shower is a bit tricky.

Very charming, wonderful breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff! Excellent and accessible location.

The mattress was on the firmer side, but that’s personal preference.

Beautiful Victorian style B&B with wonderful breakfast served by Ms. Julie. Miss Julie provided excellent service and directions to local businesses and beach.

The shower did not work well. Just a trickle.
