Elegance and Views in the Heart of Mijas pueblo

Great view, nice modern decor and close to everything!

Shower head was broken, no beach towels and in the kitchen only four mugs, four glasses etc for a family of five not so practical?!

Comfortable beds , good views, clean

Cooker oven and grill broken, as a self catering apartment this was required.we notified James who ignored our text. Also leaks in the balcony ceiling, missing bedside lampshade and electrical covers fell off during the night as was only taped on.

We zijn er niet gebleven om dat het erg koud was binnen: 16 graden en we kregen het appartement niet verwarmd. Er blies enkel koude lucht. Je kon er echt niet verblijven.

Niemand heeft ons geholpen. De eigenaar was enkel via Whatsapp te bereiken. Ze zouden iemand sturen om de verwarming op te starten, maar we hebben niemand gezien. We hebben onze vakantie in een hotel moeten doorbrengen en dus veel extra kosten gehad. We hebben slechts de helft van de huur voor die week, incl de helft van het geld voor de opkuis terug gekregen. Terwijl er geen opkuis nodig was. Ik zou nooit meer een appartement via Elegance and Views in the Heart of Mijas Pueblo huren. De klantvriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid zijn beneden alle peil. We kregen wel goede ondersteuning van Booking.com, zij hebben ons regelmatig te woord gestaan en geholpen waar het kon.

The apartment was very poorly equipped & shabby considering the price paid. There were no glasses on arrival, the shower was blocked, the oven unusable to name a few things. The agent did bring more glassware & extra beeline & towels as there was none on arrival for a 4 week stay. Unfortunately the bed linen did not fit the large bed in the main bedroom but really I couldn’t be bothered to complain further.

Location was perfect for a short stroll of 5 minutes into town, less to DIA supermarket, really convenient. Roof top pool very nice. Balcony at the apartment, spacious and comfortable and just lovely to sit out in the evening for a while before dinner. Very good air con because it was hot. Very spacious, washing machine, dishwasher etc so helpful to have. Pool towels and parasol also.

Getting into the apartment was a problem. The first code got us into the building no problem but finding the apartment was a big problem. Two apartments with the same number and letter and we were at the wrong one. At 10pm at night, no reception etc you start to panic. A lady who cleans in the apartment block with almost no English arrived thankfully and could not figure out the problem. She phoned someone and it took half an hour on the phone to finally locate our apartment. We were outside a few but the code did not open the lock box. The lady on the phone tried to tell me we must be a5 wrong apartment. I was getting frustrated at that point as we had the code which allowed us enter the first door. I asked the lady assisting us to take a photo of the codes sent to me to gain entry and to send them to the lady on the phone. Finally we were taken upstairs, over by the pool and downstairs again to finally enter our apartment.

Very modern and spacious apartment. There was also a gym in the building that was free to use during our stay. Everything you could need was provided.

It wasn’t a problem for us but my parents found the hill a wee bit steep. We didn’t realise until second last day that you could use the entrance to block 4 instead of having to go around and down the hill to block 6, would be useful to include this in the handbook.

Myself, my husband and our children (ages 18, 15 and 10) stayed at this Apt for 10 nights. We absolutely loved it - it was spacious, modern and had everything we needed, and more! the balcony was like another living area and we loved having lunch and pre-dinner drinks overlooking the amazing view. Pool area is small but was never too busy, so we spent lovely afternoons keeping cool up there. We loved that it was located so close to the beautiful town and that we could walk to shops, bars and some of the best restaurants we have eaten in. We will definitely be back!

not much we didn't like - apt could have done with a few more plates, wine glasses etc...but that's only a suggestion for improvement.
