Very nice and comfortable apartment in a central location, close to the metro and Thessaloniki’s nightlife. Restaurants, bars, and the historic center are all just a few minutes’ walk away. Fully equipped, making it ideal even for a longer stay.

The apartment was easy to find, really comfortable and spacious.

I informed the owner that we are going to leave the apartment at about 10.00-10.30 a.m. 10 minutes before 10.00 a.m. (this means by the time we should still be in the apartment) I received a call from a man asking where the keys are. I explained him several times that we left them in the key locker as required, but he insisted that they are not there. I never felt that ashamed in my life, as a criminal. After a while and several assurances from my side that the keys are there, he suddenly said that he found them, but didn’t give an excuse for the unpleasant situation.

• The apartment is spacious and matches the photos. • It’s located in a reasonably central part of the city, walking distance to the port and close to a supermarket. • The building itself is decent and the entrance area feels safe and clean. • The kitchen is equipped with basic cookware and a Nespresso machine (with 2 capsules provided).

• The area around the apartment isn’t very scenic — one window faces a run-down parking lot, the other a dull courtyard. • The bathroom design makes no sense for actual guests: no storage, barely any hooks, and no place to leave clothes or toiletries. For two people, that’s just not functional. • There’s no washing machine and, worse, nowhere to dry clothes. The humidity is high and even small items like socks took days to dry. • Cleanliness could be improved. Some utensils were still dirty, and the kitchen sink wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. • Basic kitchen staples were missing — no salt, no oil. If you’re staying only a couple of days, you shouldn’t have to go shopping for the essentials. • Each person was provided with two towels — one for the body, one for the face — which seems reasonable at first. But as a woman with long hair, one large towel isn’t enough. It would’ve made a big difference to have two large towels and a small one for the face or hands. It’s a small detail, but it really affects comfort — especially in a humid apartment where nothing dries properly. • There is a Nespresso machine and 2 capsules, which is great — but honestly, why only 2? A full pack of 10 costs just five euros and would’ve saved me a trip to the store first thing in the morning. Same story with salt and other basics — it’s not about the cost, it’s about the guest experience.

The place was very clean and fairly new. It it very close to the city center around 10min walk max. There are a lot of cafes, shops, bakeries, food in the vicinity so you don’t have to worry about anything. There is paid parking garage 7min walking from the apartment which is very convenient.

I would suggest leaving trash bags in the kitchen since there was none. Also organizng a bit under the kitchen sink would be nice.
