Spacious Grade II Listed Flint Cottage Sleeps 2

Very good location, straight forward check in and lots of space.

Not as clean as it could have been - crumbs on the couch, bugs in the bed and on the floor in the bedroom. Nothing major, bugs to be expected in the basement but I did wonder how thoroughly it had been vacuumed before our arrival

Beautifully furnished character property. Really liked the furnishing. Kitchen well equipped. Quirky! Easy to check in and out. Communication good with the company.

I feel rating it as exceptional is a bit misleading. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, apartments and air bnbs and I don’t think it was particularly good value or comfortable. No bottles of water were supplied and the tap water was horrid- tasted like artificial sweeteners. There were no toiletries provided in the bathroom either which meant washing with handwash. My husband is 6ft 4 and this property isn’t ideal for tall people due to the stairs and ceiling heights and this should be made clearer on the listing. Also the double bed was small, with no headboard and not especially comfortable. It’s a shame as the room is big enough to accommodate a decent and more luxurious bed. This place, with a few tweaks has the potential to be exceptional but it isn’t there yet!
