Thurston Manor Superior Oak Lodge Sleeps 4 1

The accommodation was to a very high standard. Spotlessly clean and a lovely location. Both bedrooms very spacious. The site is very well kept and maintained to a high standard. check in at reception was quick and the staff were pleasant.

Only one thing when reading the reviews the comment about only having four of everything in the kitchen,, plates cups, knives and forks. If you are having more than one course you have to wash the plates and cutlery.

Very spacious spotless quiet excellent views outdoor seating area everything you need, en suite in bedroom plenty hanging space for clothes in both rooms bathroom good size.

The only thing was if sitting outside you didn’t get much sun because of the trees but didn’t spoil it

The lodge was so quiet with beautiful woodland views to the rear. It was spacious, very comfortable and extremely cosy, with all the amenities required for a weekend away with friends. The rooms were all a good size and there was plenty of storage. The roads within the complex were all well sign-posted and there was good parking to the side of the lodge. The staff at the complex were very friendly and helpful, and quickly responded to an issue we had with the heating. Would definitely recommend for a stay with friends or family.

The lodge is intended to sleep 4, so the owners have provided crockery, cutlery and glassware for 4. This is a bit restrictive, as you need to wash up the dishes frequently so they are clean for reusing. It would be great if a few more items could be added. It would also be nice to have a few more pictures and decorative items about to soften the interior.

Compared to a Hotel we had a house that offered a greater space to move around at a cost effective option to suit our plan.

Beds not to my liking . soft and needs replacing. No full length mirror a lady likes to see the full view. There is just 4 place settings crockery and cutlery so if using something for cooking you have to keep washing.The can opener was rubbish would not turn.

De ligging van de lodge was prachtig, op een heuvel met een mooi uitzicht. Het park zelf zag er netjes en goed verzorgd uit.

De ontvangst bij de receptie maar ook bij het vertrek was erg zakelijk en weinig empatisch. Je werd niet echt welkom geheten op het park en nagenoeg geen uitleg. Ook bij vertrek geen interesse hoe het verblijf is geweest. De lodge zelf was alleen voorzien van meubels en verder geen kleine accessoires om het wat gezellig te laten zijn. De lodge was stoffig en gaf het gevoel dat het nog niet 'af' was. De CV gaf een foutmelding, geen warm water. Dit is wel snel door de TD opgelost.

Food in the restaurant was really good, the entertainment was fantastic. The lodge was very clean & spacious, fantastic facilities.

Only issue was the double bed, it was really uncomfortable.
