Gannets Rest - Spacious Static Caravan with Sea Views

The hamper was a lovely touch, loved the lights on and windows opened. Welcoming feeling, great idea with the spices and all condiments supplied. Great selection of games/maps/books for all the family to enjoy. Perfect...everything we could have needed was there.

Can't fault it, it was amazing. The only thing we could suggest would be a mattress topper on the sofa bed.

Gannets Rest has to be the best holiday let we have stayed in so far. It was homely and clean, and had everything you would need for a stay. A lovely touch was the welcome pack filled with goodies on arrival. The beds were very comfy, although quite firm but I very much prefer a firmer bed to a softer one. I usually wake up with backache when we go away but I didn't at all this time. The location is great as there is so much to do in the area and so many great beaches and woodland to explore. Even with dogs, it didn't stop us as most places are dog friendly. The owners were incredibly generous to let us take more than 2 dogs, which is very rare to find in holiday let's. The holiday home was also in a great position as it is right near the field in which you can let your dogs have a run. The park itself has a lot to do. Although most of the activities are aimed at kids, we enjoyed bingo and quiz nights as well as playing pool in the bar and having a swim in the morning. Overall, Gannets Rest is very lovely and obviously has very thoughtful owners to supply as much as they do. We highly recommend and if we visit Looe & Polperro again will be booking this let again.

I dont think there was anything we didn't like. Other than the weather as it was raining mostly.

Spotlessly clean and very welcoming on arrival…. There was absolutely everything you needed plus those lovely little touches that mean so much…. A welcome pack which was much appreciated…Proper quality glassware, crockery, kitchen gadgets & especially an air fryer… Bedding was clean and fresh, towels large and fluffy, .. We loved every part of the Gannets Rest experience…. Thank you Kate & Paddy you made our holiday 😘xXx
