Apartamento cerca de la playa en las lagunas de Mijas

Lovely apartment, very clean. Walking distance to the town centre and the beach.

The apartment was spotless. The location is amazing however we were woken at 6am due to noise of road and the activity in the B.P. garage. On the flip side the garage has a great shop and was good and it was handy to have a garage so nearby. The view of the castle is really quite special. You can see the sea at the side too. I was delighted to be able to see the sea, pool and castle. The apartment is really tastefully decorated and the location to the beach is amazing.

The noise of the road and garage. The pool was CLOSED on the 1st of October. We specifically selected filters to ensure we got a pool. A comment mentioned it was closed in November but we have never gone to Spain in the October week and had no pool. I was extremely disappointed and it really wasted the holiday for us. The management company tried to suggest a drought caused early closure, but neighbouring community pools were opened. This apartment is maybe best for people not flying into Spain. There were high charges if you arrived out of hours. We left at 11am and no one came in after us. We have had much more reasonable management companies who worked to accommodate us in relation to our flights in the past. The tennis court had a padlock. So pool and tennis court not accessible. I was told to speak to head of residents to get into court. The management company were not very good. The fob to get out of complex was broken and we had to jump out of car and punch in to get in and out. We weren’t given codes to all the gates. There was no air conditioning in second room. They did drop off a second bunch of keys when we asked and I got a message in Spanish about the tennis court. They directed me to speak to maintenance man about fob for gate and other residents. I was on holiday and feel that they are my point of contact. No sun on balcony at all, not allowed to sit at pool, permanent chairs in complex in the shade. If I was waiting for my family to get organised there was nowhere to sit in the sun in the complex other than a wall. Owners had locker with deckchairs but code not given.

We contacted Mr. Jeronimo, who was waiting for us. Very friendly, explained everything well. The apartment is big enough, the terrace is excellent and the surroundings are also charming. The beach is not far, a walk on the overpass over the highway. Nice walking path. We enjoyed all three days, despite the fact that the pool was still closed.

Bedrooms are very warm no air-conditioning ..very uncomfortable could not sleep while weather was warm...they just have fans...which are just blowing warm air....the whole apartment has 1 rubbish bin ..none in toilets or living area
