The location and size of the property

I should have listened to my instincts when booking this property. The length of time for the owners/agents to respond when requesting this booking was several days. I should have moved on to choice no 2. In the booking information it wasn’t made known that access was via a very steep staircase and the apartment was on 2 levels. This is important information as my guest and I both have mobility issues. It would be difficult to leave this property in the state we found it. It was to put it bluntly, it was not clean and a disgrace to be let. It was dirty, the toilets hadn’t been cleaned, or the shower nor the kitchen or the appliances in particular the oven and dishwasher. Photos attached. My requests for these issues to be addressed seemed to fall on deaf ears. Eventually the owners contacted me to say that the cleaner would be there between 5.30 and 7.30pm. (on Monday) We were having guests for dinner and was not particularly convenient. I messaged back that information and it was ignored as the cleaner turned up. She was unable to clean the oven which was unusable, she was to return on Wednesday. She did not arrive. The outside front door security lock was broken and we were told that this was reported to building maintenance would be dealing with it. (not while we were there). The shower in the main bathroom was broken and tied up with gaffer tape. It also leaked and was wasting water. My list of things to be attended to and weren’t. Kitchen: Leaking tap that sprayed when used Oven needed a deep clean Toaster broken Recycling bin broken ceiling lights – only 4 out of 10 worked hob was broken I cleaned the dishwasher before we could use it – see photos.
