Sass Glamour Apartment Next To St Stephen Basilica S1

It was a very quite place with an excellent kitchen area with great appliances. I could cook without problems. The apartment smelled fresh. There were body&hair shower gel , hairdryer, washing machine etc.

There isn’t a dishwasher but it a not a big deal.

Very good location, kitchen was good and good space. So central we walked everywhere The place is really peaceful and quiet.

The apartment was with very reasonable price, and it is on superb location (basically on a walk distance to all the places that should be seen), it was very clean, renovated and equipped with everything that you need. Also, it has elevator that was very useful for us because we travel with a baby. The host was very helpful and responsive to all our questions. Definitely it has our recommendation for staying in Budapest!

The door to the next apartment inside the room should be solved differently ( maybe curtain or something) and the water heater was noisy ať night

The location was excellent being very close to the city centre and amenities. The entry system provided excellent security, whilst making the apartment very accessible. As we were on the third floor the lift system was a great addition. The apartment was well furnished and ideal for two people, but would be lacking if four adults wanted to stay here. Communication with the owner was excellent, who gave us clear concise instructions on where the apartment was and now to gain entry. Also instructions on how to leave things on departure.

We felt that it would be have been nice to have a 'welcome pack' consisting of some water, coffee, tea and milk so that we could have relaxed with a drink after a very early start and long journey. It would also have been nice to have some tables with table lamps on to give more subdued lighting when arriving back after a long day sightseeing. We felt the room lighting made it too bright. The bathroom on occasions had a strong odour, which we felt was probably due to the age of the building and the sewer system. The biggest surprise was the locked door in the apartment which we assumed to be a private room for the owners use. However later that afternoon we were shocked to hear peoples voices in that room, and realised that this was another couple in the adjoining apartment, and the only thing separating us from them was a locked door. We could hear them quite clearly, due to the bottom of the door having a cut out section covered with a mesh type substance. This affected our quality of stay somewhat, due to the fact that we felt we needed to keep our voices down, but our neighbours were rather loudly spoken and we could hear everything; and could see their shadows when they were close to the adjoining door. If we had wanted some peace and quiet during our stay we would have been very very disappointed. However we spent most of the day out and about so it did not have too much of a detrimental effect on our stay. If these people had not been next door to us, the place would have been very tranquil. The bed was very low with a noisy mattress which squeaked every time we moved around. There were two tiny thin pillows, and we had to use the cushions from the sofa to build these up. Only one bedside lamp worked.

Great location in the city center. The apartment itself was very beautiful, modern, new and clean. It had everything you need for the stay with the family. Communication with the host was perfect. The building was very nice and in a good condition as well.

The wall between this apartment and another one is very thin, so you hear the neighbors really well and if they are noisy it is like they are in your apartment. We had this issue in the first night, but when I asked the host the next day to ask them to be quiet they really fixed it and the remaining two nights were without any issues. So we were very satisfied at the end and definitely will return.
