The decor is updated and very nice. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The lobby is very welcoming with lots of amenities.

Check in started at 4:00 and we checked in at 4:45. They informed us that our room wasn't cleaned and ready yet and that they were overbooked and didn't have enough rooms for everyone. We had to sit and wait in the lobby for at least 15 mins. They did comp us paying for parking which we didn't even know was in the mix. There was PLENTY of parking and the location is far away from downtown Laguna, so paying for parking seemed ridiculous. Once our room was ready, it was very clean and comfortable, but making us wait when we had a full evening of reservations was very inconvenient. There was a line of people waiting to check in as well. We couldn't believe that they could be overbooked too!

When we got to the room we discovered the TV didn’t work. I called the front desk and she told me the person who takes care of that is busy for 40 minutes. We asked for another room bc it was late and didn’t want to move after he couldn’t fix the TV. The next day there was no hot water when my husband went to take a shower.
