Sanctuary Cottage - close to the centre of Anstruther

Once the en-suite shower was fixed they’re was nothing to fault about the property

There was nothing not to like Clean, welcoming and central

Good location and comfortable accomodation.

A breadboard in the kitchen and a spare set of keys woudl have been helpful.

Great location.

A better signpost for entry to car park.

The location and the top floor bedroom

Mattress in the twin room. Ground floor shower needs improvement. Top floor shower drain was backing up and could do with a bread knife.

The location was perfect for the event we were attending. There was enough space for all of us, and it was clean and comfortable.

The only issue was that at the end of the stay we could not see a bin for general rubbish, only one for cardboard and paper. This was already full, and had other peoples' general rubbish in it. We therefore, had to bring our rubbish home.

Great property, close to centre but quiet place with allocated parking, big kitchen with all you need inc tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits ! very clean, comfy beds and great pillows Many Thanks

Only minor things we would mention : Accommodation is on 3 levels. Also Maybe guests should have 2 keys, easy enough to fix. ------ The door lock is basic and does not lock without key (from inside or outside) AND there was only 1 key. Although there is a key safe outside property , if there is somebody inside and wants to keep door locked ( if you're on top floor for example or fast asleep) you can't lock door and then leave key in safe outside for other guest/s to use to come in later. Especially because door bell does not seem to work either.

Centrally located. Parking outside the door. Once the central heating got going the house was very toasty.

The bed was a little too soft for our liking but that is a small gripe. Slightly cramped sitting 6 adults in living room. Not a major issue.
