Petra apartments -Old City with terrace and barbecue-

Amazing apartment in the centre of tarragona old town. Nicely furnished with everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable. The owner is so helpful, advising about the local area and places of interest.

There was nothing not to like

Gloria and Francesc are excellent hosts. They arranged for us to be picked up from Camp Tarragona station and to be dropped back at Tarragona town station. The apartment is located in Part Alta (Old Town) and you really feel part of the community with its narrow streets and local restaurants. The apartment is very comfortable and has been very tastefully designed and decorated by Gloria. The air conditioning is very efficient as is the ceiling fan in the main bedroom. Both operated by remote control. A plus for me was the coffee maker and a supply of ground coffee. The sink in the kitchen has hot and cold water but also a second tap that provides drinking water so need to buy bottled water. A Spar supermarket is about a five minute walk away and is well stocked. Most of the main sites, the Pretoria y Circo Romano, the Anfiteatro Romano, the Murallas and the Catedral y Museo Diocesano are comfortably within a 7 to 10 minute walk. Another couple of minutes will take you to the Balcon del Mediterranean and the Rambla Nova. Overall this is an excellent apartment in a very good location. I would recommend this apartment.

Honestly nothing to dislike.

The location was wonderful and a great spot for checking out the little lanes of the old city and easy to walk to the beach.

Some of the furniture in the bedroom not stable and would be good to have 2 sets of keys.

The apartment is in a great location in the old town. We walked everywhere. Quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of room for the two of us and the apartment had everything we needed. Very comfortable. The air-conditioning worked well and there was a fan in the bedroom. Loved Tarragona.

The terrace, which was what drew us to this apartment, was located on another floor and shared with another apartment, not what we expected and not so convenient. Also, the washing machine was not in the kitchen as stated but on another floor and also shared with the other apartment. Steep stairs up to the apartment, a challenge only for the suitcases.

The location of the property was superb. It was so peaceful and relaxing inside the property which was well equipped and very clean.

Very cozy and authentic apartments with lots of stuff in the rooms. Makes you feel like you're local. It is located in the trip of the hill in the very heart of the old town. The building itself is old and authentic, but you've got everything you need for a comfort stay.

Be ready to get to the top of the town - it is not easy during hot summer days.

Good location. Comfy bed.

The apartment is located down a small side road and is very central, so an ideal location. It has quite narrow stairs to get up to (on second floor) but once inside it was spacious. It met all our needs and I would recommend it as a good base to visit all the sights of Tarragona. The carpark is a little walk away but was very cheap (about £5 a day), there is a slightly nearer but more expensive carpark if this is a problem. As we left out car there for the full 3 days it was not a problem to us.

The Saturday night was a bit noisy until late from the people sat outside the local restaurant but the other 2 nights were fine and it only effected one bedroom.
