Beach Cabarete Lodge Eco De Luxe Encuentro Surf, Kite

I loved the location. The beaches outside were awesome. Especially if you turn right and walk for a little while. I had the beach all to myself. Also, the freshly cooked breakfast was really nice. I especially liked having animals be welcome there.

The staff were few and often had to wait a while for them to do anything. The food took a while (but it was lovely). Purely, because I am a cat lover. I was bothered a lot by how the tiny kitten kept on being pestered by the big dogs. Only 1 staff member was actively discouraging the dog from bothering the kitten, and then myself.

Beautiful and peaceful location - particularly compared to the beach in Cabarete town. Easy to find once you know to take the Perla Marina exit on the main road between Cabarete and Sousua. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfasts were made to order so hot and v tasty, the gardens are v pretty and the atmosphere is relaxed. The yoga place next door has an amazing restaurant.

On 2 of my 3 night stay there were people playing loud music on the beach in the early hours of the morning using the lodge’s sun loungers. It wasn’t clear if they were guests or not but unfortunately the security guard didn’t ask them to stop. On the 3rd night the sun loungers were stacked in the lodge garden and there was no problem with loud music so I got a decent night’s sleep.

The beds, the breakfast and the look & feel of thr hotel. I like the decorations and that they are dog’s friendly.

very special time here, super response from the personnel making our stay unforgettable. we had our engagement here and the staff did everything to make it a day/night never to forget! for a romantic stay, private beach relax, or private beach kite session or anything i can sustain to go here!!

the cabanas are very hearry as they are all made out of wood, you can hear the upstairs and next to you neighbours showering and even their alarm in the mornings. though these little things didnt spoil our fun!
