Kafara Resort- Villas and Pool by Lisca Bianca Rental

Great location, very secure and big apartment space.

The pool area wasn’t the cleanest and smaller than the pictures make it look. Not big enough if all three apartments want access so meant we missed out. Chorine was very strong so my girls didn’t want to go in but the beach is lovely and a five minute walk.

Grande villa (verte) bien agencée propre et moderne avec une belle vue sur la mer au calme, la piscine privée juste derrière la villa alors que les autres doivent monter un escalier. Bonne organisation pour la récupération des clefs et cartes. Check in Check out facile mais prévoir espèces à laisser pour les taxes de séjour.

Pas complètement privée car deux autres villas donc pas tjs seul et tranquille à la piscine et pas tjs assez de transat (7 pour 3 villas) et parfois compliqué pour se garer ou sortir entrer avec la voiture.

The Villa is modern and spacious, the beds comfortable and all rooms are well appointed and equipped the views are wonderful from the veranda, the property is very safe and secure and within walking distance of the beach and small villages along the coast where you can stock up on provisions.

One TV and the microwave wasn't working when we arrived but a message to the property manager put things right within a few hours. Weekends are particularly noisy with people cramming onto the small beach

Spacious 2 bed 2 bath apartment with large dining living room and well equipped kitchen. There is a terraced patio area with dining table, chairs and outdoor sofa. The apartment was secure with x2 security gates opened via a card, which was in a card safe when we arrived, so access was straightforward. If you walked out to the road turned right, then first left, you could walk down to the small beach where there is a small selection of bars/restaurants. The apartment was very quiet.

The apartment had several maintenance issues, such as the fridge being an integral unit, but the outer door wasn't attached. The second smaller flush didn't work in the second bathroom. The fly screen didn't close in the living room, etc. The apartment is in a building with two other apartments, so x3 in total, and the pool is shared. Saint Flavia is quite out of the way, so you need to hire a car. When we go to Sicily again, we will focus more on the lower half of the island as the areas around Palermo seem tired.

The villa was lovely....private with great views. The pool area was also really nice. The villa was spacious inside. The bathrooms were great and it has the most amazing restaurant next door that we went to several times. Bedding and towels were clean.

Parking was tight as there are other cars are there and there is no room to turn around and there are other apartments in the complex so be aware this is not exclusive use villa. This wasn't an issue though. We had issues with ants and this might well be because it's built into a hill but they were all over the food in the kitchen so we had to take extra care with food and basically put most things in the fridge. The kitchen only had 1 plug socket in the middle and this made it a bit awkward.

It was clean, modern, spacious, well equipped and in an excellent location.

Nothing! It was only really missing a couple of chopping boards and sharp knives for cutting bread, fruit etc and possibly one more sun parasol in the pool area. On a separate note, It would have been great if we had been been told about the amazing free tourist taxi that collected/dropped off at various locations including Santa Flavia station, rather than having to book/pay for a taxi.
