Chic Urban Retreat at Downtown with Balcony & Views, 5th-floor no lift

The property was stunning, with lots of charming features, the host has provided everything you would need. The views of the balcony were beautiful and one of my favourite things about the apartment. The location is also easy to get about and right in the centre. Overall, we were so happy and had the best trip.

Be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs to get to the apartment which is a workout in itself! The shower floor does fill up with water quite quickly but this isn’t much of an issue.

The location

• 3 nights I was there, there was a pile of garbage in the hallway entrance that was never removed and smell • There was remains of food and crumbles from the previous people in the fridge and kitchen counter top • There was black mold in the shower which can be a health threat to anyone • There was a cockroach at our door step on our second day there that I accidentally stepped on • The little shelf that the tv was on was completely dusty including all the magazines and books, and tv remote was held together by tape. I had contacted the owner by email while I was there to ask at least for someone to come and have the kitchen cleaned and got absolutely no reply! Bookings.com customer service then tried to contact them on my behalf and see what the issue was but they also apparently got no reply from the owner. Such a shame. I’m not a very picky person and I’m generally okay with everything, but this was disappointing and ruined my holiday in Lisbon.

Tastefully decorated. Location was great. It has 2 separate sleeping areas.
