Spacious 4-bedroom home near city centre with parking

Hosts very rude, saying they will fix issues and never did, said id get a partial refund, never did. Refused to answer phone to fix problems. The house wasn't cleans for 3 seperate visits. Avoid at all costs!

No back door key, no TV, no Towels, no pool table as advertised, limited amount of cutlery, dirty towels on the floor from previous guests.

After several promises from the hosts to fix issues, nothing was sorted. Couldn't enter property until after 7pm on the first night as it hadn't been cleaned. was promised a refund, never received.

The property hosts did not reply to my check in request which resulted in having to chase them when we arrived at the property. They would not answer the phone but did initially reply to texts with the code for the lock box. On entering the property, it was clear that a whole host of things stated as present on the advert were not provided. No pool table, no towels, no ironing facilities, not enough crockery for the number of guests this property is advertised to accommodate, what was provided was dirty. Normally provided essentials were missing: dish soap, hand soap, bin liners, dish washer tabs, tea towels, cutting boards to name a few. The sheets had blood on them, there was rubbish in the garden, including the broken pool table, the place smelt of smoke and marijuana, lights didn't work, the cleanliness was not to basic standard and through all of this the hosts would not reply to calls or texts. We've put a dispute into booking.com in the hope of a refund as this was simply diabolical.

The location was good, enough bedrooms for us and our four grandchildren and the pool table was a big hit with them. It was clean.

I phoned twice to ask for extra towels as there were no hand towels at all and only three bath towels between six of us. I was told some would be delivered but never were. Five bowls and five mugs, even though the property sleeps eight.

- No message about how to obtain keys until after arrival, despite confirming arrival time, and required chasing - Dishwasher full of dirty dishes on arrival - Kitchen sink dirty on arrival - No key for back door (possible fire hazard) - Advertised for 7, but only equipped with 6 plates / cups / glasses - Kitchen table only seats 4 - too small for number of guests advertised, despite lovely big kitchen - Several missing light bulbs (2 lamps, and one overhead in main room - had to move one from utility room) - No temperature dial on radiator in main room closest to pool table - Blinds by garden window/doors broken in main room - Odd sofa arrangement is awkward for more than 4 people - Broken/missing sink plug unit in the downstairs toilet sink - Not enough towels (1 per room, rather than per guest) - Hanging rails in all bedrooms, but all without hangers - Radiator constantly on in main bedroom - Wardrobe doors in main bedroom don’t stay shut (broken - need new catch) - Toilet cistern in en-suite doesn’t cut out (continually refilling with water) - Radiator in en-suite bathroom not attached to the wall properly - Hole in wall in twin-bedroom, where door handle has gone through the wall behind it - Not enough bedroom lamps - Double beds quite narrow - Pillows very flat
