The apartment's functionality and interior design. It seemed nice and clean. Location is very central to the sea and restaurants There was good communication between us and the host.

We had got the impression that the balcony was an open one, but there were glass windows when we were there. It seemed to be very difficult to change it. Even though we were instructed by the host how too, we failed to do so because of the struggle. The fact that the windows were closed all the time, meant that we did not feel that fresh air was coming into the apartment, which we did not like. We went in February and needed the heat on at night. But it didn't work. The host brought us some kind of heater, but we spent a lot of time on the problem, at the same time as the discomfort of freezing at night. The bed was a bit to the hard sde

Accommodation almost perfect, very clean, well equipped ,excellent balcony ,within 50 metres of beach restaurants. Great pool.

My preference is a walk-in shower and that's the only reason it's not a 10.

Location was perfect , walked to marina and easy walk to old town . The promenade is very pretty and so close

The apartment had a great location, was very comfortable and had everything you could need (plus extras). They have little touches that a lot of others don't even consider (eg even providing beach towels) which shows how thoughtful they are about your stay. Air-conditioning in both the bedroom and living areas was fantastic. The large terrace was a real selling point for us and we spent a lot of time out there. The kitchen and utility areas are well kitted out so no need to buy condiments, cooking oil, washing powder/liquid, etc. The bed was comfy and they provided extra pillow and quilt options. There's also loads of storage throughout the apartment so no clutter. The apartment is right by the beach (lovely sandy beach with beautiful water) which was perfect for us. It is also a very short walk to the main area with the restaurants. The management company were very helpful. We never had any problems contacting them, they were very quick to respond to any queries we had and we had no problems meeting them to get the keys when we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment and would definitely stay here again if we're back in the lovely Calpe.

The only thing we felt we were missing is that the terrace does not get the evening sun which is unfortunate but completely out of the owners control.
