Host was great. I called her and call was always answered.

Tv wasn't working properly. The room smelt so bad when we walked in. They don't tell you but you can only get the key lock sent to 1 device. If you want it to another device, you have to pay an additional £25 and it wasn't said in description on website.

The location was decent and the bed was comfortable but am afraid not much else beyond this

I have to say my stay at Hawthorn apartments was thoroughly disappointing. The pictures and the reviews I saw prior to booking was clearly misleading and far from what we have experienced. On stepping through the door it was immediately apparent that there were plethora of issues. Broken door locks, filthy carpets, mould in the shower, a detached toilet seat, missing bin lid and not so much as a courteous hand wash for the toilet. I called to make my grievances known but only had someone that couldn’t speak English or understand what I was saying come in to take pictures before swiftly leaving. This was meant to be a birthday surprise and it’s a shame all of the issues raised made it a night to forget. I would strongly recommend against booking here.

The front entrance doors of the block had no glass in. I don’t know if this was due to accidental damage
