Luxury 3 Floor Townhouse Birmingham - Alara Boutique Living

It was very modern, clean and warm. I felt very comfortable I love how luxurious this apartment is.

The lack of privacy, The main door and the windows on the stairs were exposed there was no blinds. It would have been great if there was some kind of cover as the opposite neighbours can see into the house.

The Property is Tall and Spacious, spread out over 3 floors, as you Arrive on the street the front gate and property enterance arent difficult to find or navigate, making getting luggage into the property an easy task. On the ground floor as you enter youre greeted by a hard floor twin bed bedsit, its pretty plain as it goes but the extra space and hard wood floor makes it Ideal space for bigger groups & families as it provides additional space for sleep & storage. On the second floor you will find a large open plan kitchenette there is everything you need for "Living" In the room, a fridge that works, Washing appliances, cutlery, a moderately comfy sofa and a tv with netflix, thebproperty also comes with internet, although Birmingham seems to have Signal Dampening Affects on Data. Finally as you go up one more floor you will find The master bedroom and the second (but main) bathroom, fitted with a bath, shower & styalised the water stays warm and the bedroom is cosy, the beds are comfy and the location is actually pretty quiet! I reccomend this property, it is within easy travelling distance of the city center and some local venues, its quite, well maintained and the staff are pleasant.

Not enough local choice for food. Eating out & take outs can get expensive.

The property itself was beautiful

Unfortunately me and my partner were completely horrified to discover racist profiles on the television (Netflix) it has taken me a few days to submit a review as I’m still completely dumbfounded and emotionally shaken from the experience. Additionally this profile required a pin to change the name, suggesting it has been put on the tv purposely. We booked this stay to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was quite frankly ruined upon discovering that somebody whether it was staff or the owners, or even previous guests, found it acceptable to add a Netflix profile named ‘black nigga’ and lock it with a pin so that we had no choice but to see such disgusting, hurtful, derogatory words on the tv screen. Even if this was submitted by a previous guest, it should have been rectified before another guest was able to book their stay. My partner is African and I am Jamaican, these words are completely disgusting to use and particularly hurtful to us personally. I’m just glad we decided against bringing our two children under the age of 8 with us. To be honest this experience completely ruined our evening, which is a huge shame considering we did actually love the facilities. However there is no excuse for ignorance and racism. I will be pursuing a full refund.

No toiletries. Many basic items in Kitchen are missing - Microwave, New dish washer scrub, Salt, Dish washer Rack.

Perfect location, easy walk in to Birmingham centre. The owner was very responsive and accessible; a request for an iron and hairdryer was sorted immediately. Good, roomy apartment over 3 floors, 2 good sized bathrooms. Will definitely book again when back in Brum.
