Nice decor and comfy furnishings. Lovely welcome pack and plenty of space for us to relax.

It was unfortunate to see some of the issues reported by past guests remain unresolved (faulty landing light, unsafe threshold in kitchen, shower not draining and taped up electric cables). Being on a main road it is also very noisy throughout the night.

The location of the property was good for Chester Town centre.

We initially couldn't gain access to the property as the key pad was malfunctioning, and we had to call the 'caretaker' to come and help us. The general cleanliness of the property was absolutely appalling and it was obvious that a lot of the grime was not new! There were cobwebs hanging from under the radiators and the bathroom and kitchen sinks/bath were disgusting. The tap fitting in the kitchen was extremely loose and awkward to use. The whole place was a shambles and bodged together with little or no competency. The electrics throughout were dodgy and in some cases I would suggest dangerous. The stairs were not safe at the top and there were no fire doors that we could see, in fact the 'doors' throughout were very badly fitted. There is no fire escape route for the upstairs bedrooms/bathroom and should a fire occcur blocking the front hall, it would be nothing short of disastrous.

Good size kitchen & living room & bedrooms. Well located. When we contacted the owners about lights not working they were sorted out the same day

Road noise is very loud. Property is clean but needs a refresh. Curtails in living room need attention. TV is hard to manage as you need to watch it using apps

Fantastic location for Tesco and Chester Zoo. Lovely house and very spacious.

Very dirty, food still on cutlery, alot of dust everywhere, broken beds, broken shower, smelt very fousty, dirty bath water running down the kitchen window, was left 1 dirty used sponge to clean plates with

Loads of dog poo outside seating area and we arrived on a hot day! Twin beds had to have bolts tightened to make them safe. No TV channels. Broken lock on front bedroom door making it rattle when closed. Half used food in kitchen cupboard. Bare wires taped together with sticky tape inside kitchen cupboard. Dog hair all over living room rug. Made a family meal for 6 only to find there was only 4 sets of cutlery. Shower in bathroom cuts off mid shower for no apparent reason. Tried to contact owners to no avail.
