A lovely property in a beautiful part of sussex. Well equipped with everything you need for a short break. The hosts are very friendly and the cottage is very clean and homely. Good quality linen and lovely big, soft bath towels! The welcome goodies were much appreciated…. Who doesn’t want a glass of Prosecco or a cup of tea after a long journey!

Garden not secure.

We loved everything! The hosts Willem and Olivia were lovely and very welcoming, even inviting the kids to help bring in the pony from the field. The property is perfection; in a really beautiful spot with unspoiled views and amazing footpaths on the doorstep. The apartment couldn't be faulted - it had everything you could need and you can tell they've put a lot of thought and care into it, providing things like champagne flutes and high quality pans. All the extras that were included made our stay super comfortable - from the unexpected things like eggs, milk and prosecco - to the things I forgot to bring myself like olive oil, salt pepper, foil, clingfilm and all the cleaning bits you could need. The living space was lovely, with a smart tv and games. The fire pit was so much fun for the kids. It was a really lovely experience and we'll be sure to come back in the near future. There's also so much to do within a 5 minute drive. A great staycay!

We loved it all.

The chalet / apartment is set above a large double garage/ workshop, and it provided ample comfortable space for a family of 4. We received a very warm welcome, and check-in was quick, smooth, and very easy. The space itself was very clean and nicely furnished, and the owners had even decorated the accommodation with Christmas decorations and a tree. The kitchen was equipped, and there was also a nice amount of cleaning products available for our use, which is often lacking in self catered accommodation. The countryside views are stunning and very peaceful. We were staying close to a larger family group for early Christmas celebrations, so we're were in and out over 3 days, which was also very easy with access to a large secure gated drive. There are also great walks directly on the doorstep, which was amazing for 2 small dogs. My wife and I come from catering and hospitality, and having previously managed ski chalets, we have a keen eye for details, and we were not disappointed. All in all, we couldn't fault anything about our stay, and we'll certainly be looking to book again when we're next down to visit family.

The location is fairly remote, but if you are planning on using a car, there are lots of villages and towns within 15 mins, and lots of countryside walks right on the doorstep so this was no issue for us at all.

An excellent property with everything you need for a great weekend or couple of weeks. The host was excellent and had thought of every small detail from dishwasher tabs to Prosecco for our arrival. It made a short stay for a wedding into a weekend get away. There was a great private outdoor area we would love to try in the summer for a longer stay.

Dishonest host - got accused what was not done and Booking. com was bad with follow up. Both host and Booking.com swept my complaint under the carpet! Bath tub - bad drainage. Shower head came off! Bad flushing system in the bathroom. No heating in the bathroom. The entire property soaked with the fresh paint smell!

Deer View was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Beautiful surroundings - All we needed for a perfect weekend. The little touches of milk/eggs etc were very welcome. Lovely attentive owners, Thank you.
