3 Severn close Contractor home in Oakham near Rutland Water with parking

Great location as we were visiting friends in town, nice quiet area and easy to find. Plenty of space downstairs.

Facilities are fairly basic, not quite what we were expecting. Thin towels, and very thin curtains, bathrooms a bit tired with cracked tiles but surface level clean. Very soft beds. Only cold water showers for us sadly as there was a problem, but the owner came to fix it when we were out, so hopefully, it was fine for the next guests. Not in time for us and our event, which was really disappointing. Kitchen cupboards and splashback are quite grubby. They just need a good scrub, lots of spiders / webs on ceilings and doors again, which was a bit disappointing given previous reviews but we evicted as many as possible. We left as early as possible, which was a shame.

Oakham is a nice quiet place. Perfect location for us as a base between Oakham school and Rutland water.

Very convenient for Rutland Water and plenty of space in the house.

Missing a hairdryer which the host quickly sorted.

Very clean and tidy with all you need for a short or long stay

Easy instructions from the hosts, very clean with absolutely everything you'd need... .even takeaway menus! Nice quiet cul-de-sac with ample parking. Was a great find and would highly recommend the property.

Very peaceful near to town.

Bed was a bit soft. Shower mat and hand rail in bath would have helped.

The living area was nice and big, with plenty of seating. It was close to our family.

The main bathroom window would not close. We kept rolling into the middle of the double bed.
