It was very clean and well presented

No dishwasher, mattress was awful, hob was faulty, fan above hob didn’t work, neighbours complained about parking outside property

Everything it was spacious, cosy warm but most of all home from home 👌🏼 will definitely stay again! Fabulous host had everything we needed.

Easy location for train station and The Brindley Theatre. Clean and had loads of space. Back garden was great.

Felt a bit echo so could maybe do with curtains in living area. Toilet seat was faulty and could have done with a bath mat.

Location, modern decor, equipped with basics, great shower, smart TV, good central heating and well laid out, comfortable home.

It was ideal for our needs but to be helpful to others choosing to book - Parking is not reserved, it’s on street and anywhere you can find but there’s always a space (even for our large car). Take your own hand/bath towels as 2 sets are supplied but may not be enough, a bath mat is not provided. The bathroom door could do with looking at as it tended to get stuck but didn’t affect our stay. In the main bedroom there’s a cupboard with a hanging rail and shelving so you do have space to hang your clothes / store your bags.

The bedding hadn't been cleaned after the previous occupant and there was hair left on the pillows. The owner was very apologetic and gave a full refund.

Everything the weather wasn't on oursde but it has the right name couldn't have been any where better it was cosy really enjoyed everything you needed

The bathroom door kept jamming shut hard to get out

Loved this little cosy cottage cleanliness exceptional very relaxing didn't want to leave the host was amazing was there for any queries at any time. It was better then staying at a hotel everything you needed was on hand the station 2 mins walk returning again in December couldn't find a better place in Runcorn

There was nothing not to like loved the place we had a fantastic chilling time 😄😄😄

* The property was very clean, all areas. * The downstairs is very spacious, open plan living room / dining room / kitchen. * The shower is good, both detachable shower head and overhead, good pressure, good temperature control. * Heating worked well, kept the house nice and warm. This was especially important as it was near zero when we arrived. * TV worked and was linked to various streaming apps * Excellent location: super close to train station, really easy access from motorways

* Some of the door handles were hard to operate. Particularly the bathroom door handle, which was close to impossible. * In the bathroom, the bath tub is too high. I'm tall (six foot) and found it challenging getting out. Others in my party are not as tall as me and they really struggled. * The extractor fan for the kitchen cooker didn't work. * The kitchen had only the bare minimum, maybe not even that. There were 5 plates, 5 bowls, etc. Surprisingly there were only 4 mugs (despite the property advertising that it could accommodate up to 5 people). There was no kitchen towel. * There isn't a single chair in the property. * A coffee table in the living room would have been a welcome addition * There isn't a dedicated car parking space. This is mis-advertised. The parking is on-street parking on a public road, and is first-come first-serve. There is no dedicated or reserved space for the property. * On the day we arrived, it was zero degrees outside, freezing cold. The heating in the property was turned off, and it was freezing cold inside too. We had to wait some time for it to warm up. It would have been nice to be welcomed in by a warm house. * The second bedroom doesn't have any storage facility (e.g. shelf or cupboard), bed side table or anything. Just a bunk bed accommodating 3 people.
