Bronte Stables - Cozy period house with parking and walled garden

We had a wonderful stay at Bronte Stables and couldn’t have asked for a better place to see in the New Year. The beds were cosy, the cottage was spotlessly clean and warm, and the decor was beautiful with so many thoughtful personal touches. The dog-friendly garden was a real bonus, and everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay was provided. Our lovely host was contactable throughout and shared great recommendations for local walks and places to eat and explore in the village, which really enhanced our time there. We also loved the books and historical information about the area and the stables, and being right on the doorstep of the Brontes’ birthplace made it feel even more special. The setting is perfect for walks, but the stables themselves are so welcoming that it’s a joy just to be there. Our children had a fantastic time and were delighted with the art supplies left by the host ready for them to draw and paint a thank you picture for the her. It was such a thoughtful touch that sums up how well cared for we felt. We must mention the roll top bath too - definitely a hit with the kids! A truly special place with a fantastic host. We would happily return and highly recommend Bronte Stables.

Everything was perfect for us. We have no complaints.

Very well equipped and comfortable cottage we took our dogs and there was everything they needed which is unusual but very much appreciated.

The saucepans were quite heavy.

Location was perfect for family visit and this was a quiet and comfortable place to stay. Host was very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable. The house was well supplied with everything you could need and the furniture was good quality (not often the case with holiday rentals).

The kitchen could use a draining rack to go on the draining board. But that's a small point.

Good access to the village and amenities

Not accessible for disabled guests, cobbles quiet uneven and slippery.

The host was fantastic, really accommodating and helpful and even allowed an early check in and late check at no extra cost, which was very good of her. The house was very cozy and very well equipped.

The location wasn’t great unfortunately which is a shame as the house is so lovely.
