Coolest Apartments in Haarlem City - close to Beach and Amsterdam

This was a great apartment that had everything I needed. Each time I thought of something, I just imagined where I would keep it....and there it was. The washer/dryer was great, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was fantastic with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Also a short walk to the Phil where my conference was. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Haarlem.

Cosy and comfortable apartment in walking distance to nearly everywhere (city center, central station). Also very nice host.

The location of this apartment could not be better. The square was a 5 minute walk. The train station a 10 minute walk. The supermarket was a three minute walk. The living, dining and kitchen area was very generous in size. The washer and dryer were perfect. All the appliances worked great. We especially like the espresso machine. We could stream from our iPad to the smart TV. The shower was excellent and there was lots of hot water. The bathroom was the smallest one I have ever seen. That being said it worked ok but it was a one person at a time scenario. As a result it took a bit longer to get ready to start the day. The bed was comfortable.

We prefer a free standing bed but the bedroom size was too small to allow this. A larger bathroom would improve this unit but that is not really an option.

I loved the spaciousness of the apartment. The decor is modern, clean and inviting, making you feel right at home. The kitchen comes very well equipped, and the washing machine was a huge plus. For women traveling solo, this is a very safe location, in close proximity to all the important sights of Haarlem, as well as to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bus stop (to Schiphol), and train station. You couldn’t have asked for a kinder and more attentive host than Simon. He responded immediately to any questions before, during and after my stay, and was a great communicator.

I can’t find fault with this gem of an apartment. The only thing worth mentioning is that the spiral staircase leading up to the apartment on the first floor is narrow and steep, and not accessible to persons with disabilities.

Location was near all the necessary shops, cafes, bars and very close to a decent supermarket. Felt like home from home, and had everything we could think of you would need in terms of utensils and implements for cooking. Excellent advice on what to do and how to do it in the area and the host was extremely helpful, but not intrusive. Given that it’s a city centre location it was quiet in the evening and early morning. Happy to agree that it is the coolest apartment in Haarlem!

Our stay in Simon's apartment was great. We received instructions via Whatsapp on how to find the apartment and get the key. That went smoothly. The apartment is very centrally located, in the middle of Haarlem, and yet it is quiet in the bedroom. It is all very comfortably furnished and decorated with a lot of love. A LED fireplace and lots of candles add to the coziness. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and waffles - thank you! :-) The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is small but nice and offers everything you need. We liked that many products were in stock, such as soap, toilet paper and also delicious coffee. We had the opportunity to meet Simon briefly, he is super friendly and helpful and gave us some tips for our time in North Holland. Overall, we felt very, very comfortable and welcome.

The hosts are great and very pleasant. Location of the apartment is awesome, right in the center of the city, everything is in a walking distance. Apartment has everything one needs. Great Saturday market just around the corner.

The apartment was lovely. It is located in the heart of Haarlem within a short walking distance of bars and restaurants and the train station. It's a good location to stay if visiting Amsterdam as the train in is quick and fast. It was spotlessly clean and very comfy. The furnishings and facilities were top notch. The decor is very stylish.

There was nothing I did not like. Just to note though: the bathroom is small (as can be seen from the photos) however it has everything you'd need and the shower is great. There are circular stairs going up one flight to the apartment which are narrow and it can be a little tricky with heavy bags but otherwise is OK.

Simon is very nice to help. everything here are very nice , very convenient
