Private Rooms, Shared Bath in a Private Home Minutes From Logan Airport

Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. This was the worst place we have ever stayed at. First of all, carrying luggage upstairs is extremely awkward and difficult. The staircase is tiny and very steep, so forget about staying here if you have heavy suitcases. Second, the place is unbelievably noisy. You can hear absolutely everything when someone moves around at night. The bed in our room squeaked constantly, so every small movement would wake everyone up. What completely shocked us, though, was the cleanliness, or rather, the complete lack of it. The room clearly had not been cleaned before our arrival. I didn’t take pictures of the bathroom, but it was filthy. The toilet was disgusting and I had to wipe it down myself with multiple disinfecting wipes, and many of them came back completely yellow. It honestly looked like the bathroom had not been cleaned in a very long time. There was no shampoo left, the shower drain was clogged, and the sink was clogged as well. The downstairs bathroom was also disgusting. On top of that, there were rat droppings downstairs near the shower and bedrooms area. We stayed upstairs, but we walked around in socks to avoid making noise and were completely disgusted. I also took photos and videos of the rats in the garden. Be very careful if you go outside there, the garden was full of rats. We even filmed them entering the house through a hole in the yard. There were also rat droppings behind the trash bins. The next morning, we met the husband, who apologized and explained that apparently there had been a water outage the day before, so the cleaner supposedly could not do the cleaning. But instead of canceling the stay or informing guests properly, they simply let us check in to a dirty property as if nothing had happened. It was absolutely unacceptable. I am almost certain the bedsheets had not been changed either. When we requested a refund, they refused. That was honestly the final insult.

Near the airport and stores. Self check-in and check-out. Comfortable bed and blanket. Relatively quiet area. Easy to get to by Uber.

Squeaky floor and stairs. Sharing bathroom.

Super clean, nicest property we have stayed at in Boston after 5 years of visiting. Comfortable beds. Nicely furnished great bathrooms. Great restaurant with in walking distance.

Parking was a challenge if we arrived late in the evening

Easy access to Blue Line subway and bus routes. Police station and playground around the corner.

Single bed in my room barely room for my 6’2” length. You barely notice the planes taking off.
