The location was very good. Although it was not in the city centre it was very easy to go to downtown Newcastle by bus. Also, there was a good supermarket within walking distance from the flat (approx. 10 minutes).

The shower kept switching from hot to cold water(!) but we managed

Overall a good property just the things listed below let it down.

The beds were noisy . Slugs in the bathroom, half an eaten cake found, and mould. Smelt of vinegar after cleaners had been.

Very comfortable. 3 bedrooms (5 single beds & 1 double) with a separate living area and nice kitchen. Excellent location with 2 grocery stores and several restaurants just around the block. The owner checked in with us multiple times to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend.

The back garden was kind of dirty, but we only went back there to hang clothes to dry, so we didn't really care.

The smell of cigarette smoke in the property was that bad that we refused to expose our 2 young children to that environment. Owners refused to give a refund.

It was filthy dirty. Apparently they had had a bad lot of guests prior to us and were unable to find cleaning staff, however the state of the place suggested it was far from one turnaround clean that was missing. We were offered a derisory discount.
