Amazing rooms, amazing facilities and amazing views

Bit of a drive up from Lucca but it was only 20 mins and easier once you got used to the roads

It is a gorgeous place with the most stunning views. The pool was lovely and not too busy. The beds comfortable and the private garden lovely. Staff were very helpful and even offered a late checkout, which was much appreciated with our toddler.

Unfortunately our bathroom had a bit of mould. Reception staff looked genuinely surprised and I am sure they have sorted it since. But it should have been noted by cleaners and sorted sooner. The kitchen is ok, but not all that well equipped if you are planning to cook more than once. It would be nice to offer a change of towels for stays longer than a few days.

Beautiful location, views outstanding

There were amazing views but the outside area for the property was unmaintained and scruffy, outside furniture had seen better days. This was the opposite for the grounds which were well maintained. The kitchen lacked in decent utensils, the forks and spoons bent when used.

The location

The furniture was not comfortable. The interior design was not Italian. Various items were missing, including kitchen utensils and dish towels, and there was only a small amount of dishwashing soap provided. The pots and pans did not work on the stove. The towels were not changed during our stay. The garden was separate from the accommodation itself.
