"Very nice, well situated, well equipped characterful accomodation."

9.0

Very well situated at the top end of town. It was just a short walk to the post office and general stores, and another couple of minutes to the very excellent Manor Inn. Parking was directly outside the front door. The neighbours were very friendly too. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the garden was lovely, offering sea views over to the Isle of Man. Our host, Ben, was in touch throughout to ensure that all was in order. Also, St Bees is very lovely and friendly.

All was good for us!

The view.

The bathroom light kept tripping the electric which meant that we couldn’t have a shower in the evening because it was dark .

The views from the garden are amazing, looking towards the sea and the Isle of man. The area was quiet and very relaxing. The property was spotlessly clean. There are lots of walks on the doorstep . The wonderful cost and not too far from the lakes.

The towels are small, and you don't get many , we had our own . The matress on the bed was uncomfortable.

The place is lovely, clean, and comfortable. One big, one small bedroom with beautiful sea view from the kitchen/garden and small room. Kitchen well equipped, in the good standard, with dining area. Perfect for a little breakfast in the morning before the hiking and nice for family games in the evening. Beautiful, well looked after garden, where we lay down at night to watch the stars and for a morning coffee with beautiful views. I like the fact that there is no TV and very good WiFi. Nice bathroom with bath and shower. The place is warm and cosy. Highly recommend if you want to get away from the busy city life and recharge your battery or spend some quality time with your family in nature.

I liked everything. Thank you!

"What a super little gem! A cozy cottage set amongst the most friendliest village you could meet, with the most super vie"

10.0

What a super little gem! A cozy cottage set amongst the most friendliest village you could meet, with the most super views of the sea and Isle of Man! A funky network of gardens telling a story of generations. You can either walk across the golf course and cliff top to St Bees main, or along the beach. Lunch at the, dog friendly, Seacote Hotel, or sit at the open space and have coffee, cake or ice cream. We like to cook and had everything we needed. We brought our own TV as we wanted to flop out, and catch up on trashy box sets. We ate at the Queens Hotel in the village, aka the most friendliest people you could meet. The Post Office stocks all you need, and again, so welcoming and they love dogs, plus they have every piece of information you need of the area. There’s Seascale an endless beach with free parking or the harbour to visit at Whitehaven.

There wasn’t anything to dislike. If you like to watch TV just bring your own - it’s easy to do.

"Great accommodation find"

10.0

Our second trip to the lovely St Bees and our first time staying at Little Blue House. A lovely little cottage which was just what we needed. Clean, dog friendly with amazing facilities and an absolutely tremendous view from the kitchen and garden. The perfect place to chill with coffee or a beer. Would highly recommend.
