Die Anlage und die Poollandschaft waren sehr schön, die Zimmer mit Meerblick und Balkon top, der Service/Personal unglaublich aufmerksam - am Abend wurden sogar die Betten aufgeschlagen.

Schitterende accomodatie, prachtig gelegen. Vlak bij het strand. Het personeel was zeeeer attent en zeeeer behulpzaam. Zeer vriendelijk, in één woord: TOP. Ontbijt was correct, niet veel afwisseling en brood viel tegen.

Beautiful setting and wonderful staff, but not quite the 5* experience we expected We stayed at Colonna Grand Hotel Capo Testa in May and overall had a good stay, largely thanks to the incredible location and genuinely friendly staff. The team throughout the hotel were warm, welcoming and always helpful, which really makes a difference. The grounds and setting are stunning, and I would absolutely recommend paying extra for a sea view room as the views are spectacular. The rooms themselves are comfortable and clean, although a little dated in places – but that does fit the more traditional Italian style of the hotel. The beach is also lovely. there were a few areas where we felt the hotel fell short of a true 5-star experience. We stayed half board, and unfortunately the food was the biggest disappointment for us. Breakfast was very repetitive every day, with a heavy focus on sweet pastries and cakes, but very limited hot savoury options unless you specifically asked for omelettes. Dinner presentation was nice, but the actual food quality was inconsistent and often average. We are big food lovers and travel frequently eating at Michelin and high-quality restaurants, so we do appreciate good ingredients and fresh produce. Some seafood dishes in particular tasted more canned or processed rather than fresh, and many of the pasta dishes and sauces lacked flavour and quality. The facilities could also be improved. The gym is very basic for a 5-star hotel — just a few older cardio machines and some weights. If more than a handful of guests wanted to use it at once, it would struggle. We were also surprised there were no complimentary fitness or wellness classes. Yoga was available, but at an additional €26 charge. It would have been nice to see some included activities or classes given the beautiful outdoor setting. Another small but noticeable point: charging guests for water and coffee in the room feels unnecessary at this level of hotel and leaves the wrong impression. One important thing to note is that you really do need a car here. In May parking was manageable for us, but spaces are subject to availability and I imagine in peak summer this could become stressful, especially as the location is fairly isolated without transport. Lastly, the hotel doesn’t feel geared toward a wider range of guests looking for atmosphere, wellness activities or more facilities.

Hôtel très charmant, la classe à l’italienne, la vue est exceptionnelle, le personnel est à l’écoute et très avenant et surtout pour la plupart trilingue. La chambre est souvent nettoyée avec une petite attention sur nos oreillers.

Les chambres ne sont pas à la hauteur d’un 5 étoiles même si elles sont très charmantes, nous avions certes une vue magnifique depuis la chambre mais la salle d’eau est petite, la douche en elle même est aussi petite avec un pommeau difficilement réglable en eau chaude, le matelas peut être trop dur pour certains.
