The host is simply incredible. She has been in constant communication and very accommodating.

I generally travel quite a bit for work (i.e. Europe, Turkey, South America, Canada, the Caribbean) so I am quite used to staying at hotels and guesthouses. This time around, I had to take time off to situate my daughter who is in medical school and was doing clinical rotations at Stoke Mandeville Hospital about a mile away, so being able to stay close to the hospital was a key factor in choosing this location. I did not really have any expectations, other than what the house advertised as "small and cozy". However, we were very pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the house, the décor, very stylish, contemporary design without being overdone. It was a very comfortable stay and had everything we needed and then some, exceptionally clean and apparently very newly renovated, with a lovely garden back yard. It was very apparent that a lot of effort went into making this house a home away from home, which made it very adaptable and exceptional for the price. I would highly recommend staying at this house, for any traveler. Buckinghamshire is also a very lovely and historic area, and the "cozy 2 bedroom" house is within 2 miles of all the conveniences of restaurants, shopping centres, movies museums in the downtown area, so that was also an added bonus.

When I stay in a guesthouse, that does not have daily maid service, I personally like to have a broom and dustpan, because I like to sweep the kitchen after cooking. (That's just my personal preference).

Clean and stylish. We used it as a base to see family in the local area. Great communication with the host and would definitely stay again.

Both mattresses need to be replaced. Old, tired and extremely soft. I sat right through onto the base when I sat down, and I am not overweight. C'mon guys, it's time. Small outlay for big returns. The rest was great!
