Romantic getaway, little two bed, two bath barn conversion with amazing views and parking

Well situated for great walks and views. Very well equipped kitchen and felt comfortable for two couples who know each other well. Very tasteful decor and furnishings

A dishwasher would have been amazing! But appreciate not a lot of room in the kitchen but that is a real nit pick! We loved it and all said we would love to buy it if we could

The location was about as perfect as it is possible to get, in the Lake District. We had access to a small fell out the back which was great for walking the dog or we could walk right through Ambleside and staight up onto some of the high fells. There was private arking available right outside. Some basic ingredients were in the cupboards. The BBQ was clean and fit for use.

Upstairs bedroom not very clean - dusty and walls hadn’t been cleaned from previous visit -mud and marks on them :(

Great views. Log burner was fabulous. Location fabulous (apart from the steep hill!) but it’s on loughrigg fell so great for walking . well equipped,everything you need in the kitchen including salt pepper coffee etc etc comfy beds

It would be better for 2 people as the 2nd bedroom is directly off the kitchen so everyone needs to go bed and get up at the same time. The room is not much bigger than a double bed. It’s a grueller walking up that hill after visiting Ambleside but you get your heart rate up so there is a positive

It's in a fantastic location with amazing views over the valley. It's a great base for walking and sightseeing, with lots of options and bus routes really close by. The property, although small, is well equipped and furnished.

We really liked the property so it’s hard that find points to criticise, however it is quite a steep walk up the hill back from Ambleside.
