Cozy Private Home at Terra Verde Resort, South Facing Pool Spa, Near Disney, SeaWorld

I liked that there was going to be a key pad but unfortunately it wasn’t working when we got there. The pool is great, loads of Sun loungers. The house is beautifully kept, very comfy and well stocked. The resort is beautiful and very safe so close to everything. We loved the family of ducks strolling around each day. The staff in the clubhouse were lovely and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We couldn’t use the key pad only the key in the lockbox. We had some noisy partying neighbours but they were gone after a few nights. That’s not the owners fault. There was a few issues with fans, the manager called one morning while we were out and my son was there and he said he would call back later but we never saw him for the rest of our holidays and some days we baked in the house. I didn’t like that the Communal pool did not provide pool towels you have to bring them from your home which we did not know. Quiet time finishes at 6am which is way too early if you have noisy neighbours or just want a rest day.

Perfect vacation home. You can see that this home was furnished and decorated by people who most definitely love using it as their second home, too. There are so many little adorable details you can find if you look closely that show that John and Donna are not only great hosts that were always really quick in answering when we had a question and wrote them a message, but also have great taste. It was just the 2 of us, so we only used one bed and bath. The bed in the master bedroom was comfy, we did not try the other ones, but they looked nice, too with wonderful surprises for kids like Minnie and Mickey Mouse plush toys. The main reason for us to choose this house was the luxury to have a private pool and at the same time a big community pool with heating. We could have ordered pool heating, but we chose not to, because usually the water is warm enough for us without heating. Well, part of the time the weather was not as good as we had hoped for and at these times we wished we had ordered heating. But once we were in the water it was fine. And here comes the big plus: You can always go to the community pool and the water is really warm there. There is also a beautiful lake in the community where you can take a nice walk and watch the sunrise or sunset. They have ducks there and we were lucky to see two duck families with lots of little black and yellow fluffy ducks following their mothers. You can feed them, but please only with food that is good for them. A little rice is ok, but why not buy some frozen peas, defrost them and feed them to the ducks. There were also some other amenities in the community like a play ground, gym, mini golf, beach volleyball and even free coffee in the morning. It was a perfect stay for us and we really did not want to leave, but every vacation must come to an end... We will be sure to come back whenever we get a chance.
