Cottage is well equipped. Its in a good location for all that Masham has to offer including wonderful bakery and walk routes. Also good information for guests.

Just on a very noisy road

We stayed at Morton House for one night as part of a cycling trip. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed - really comfortable, central location, spacious…. There’s even a piano 🤣. We had a couple of last minute changes to our group numbers and Michelle (the owner) was really understanding and very helpful

Beautiful cottage, great location for exploring and having everything on your doorstep. Hosts were lovely, they really looked after us.

Location was good

It's not a property for 6 people. It's for 5 people. No storage or hanging space in smallest room and beds were tiny. I was embarrassed to have booked it. 2 people had to try squeeze into the tiny room which is little more than a cupboard. The velux blind was mouldy and dirty. The velux blind in the master bedroom did not close, so when the sun came up the couple in that room were woken. The ground floor bedroom underfloor heating did not work, so it was freezing. The bathrooms were really poor. Damp in the downstairs one and some type of gunge on the shower itself. The upstairs one had the lock broken off the door. Both had shower curtains which were grotty and were tiny. 3 couples trying to get ready in the morning to attend a wedding found it very frustrating. The outside was badly lit. I can't tell you how embarrassed and disappointed I was.

Comfortable and well maintained, with all the things we needed for our stay. Enjoyed sitting out in the garden in the sunshine! Great location - both the small market town itself and as a base for exploring the area.
