Cat Ba Green Pearl Hotel

Helpful staff, nice breakfast, clean nd comfy rooms at a good price. Close to town restaurants and beaches but on a quieter side street

Would have loved breakfast pho but it wasn't. Hardship to eat the delicious crispy banana crepes

Good location. Good property manager. Was not cleaned during our 5 day stay. Everything was very dusty, they could have at least used a broom twice or three times.

Cleanliness

All staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Apartment wasn't quite as nice as the pictures though and could have been cleaner. Good location to the centre of Cat Ba town though.

Tony was a very nice and helpful host. The room was really nice and the location of the hotel is very good if you don’t want to stay at the busy waterfront (lots of construction is going on there) of Cat Ba City. The breakfast was simple but really delicious and friendly.

We had a perfect stay in cat ba at Green Pearl hotel. Tony was super helpful even before we checked in, arranging a boat trip on one day, bike on another, and our trip back to Hanoi. The rooms were just like the picture, super comfortable - and so cheap too! I would 100% recommend staying here on your cat ba trip!

We had no issues with the property.

It was a place to sleep and shower. Close to the main parts of the town and on a quiet street which was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Disappointing experience, pretty sure most of the high rating reviews for this place are fake. Bed was very springy and stiff, blanket was ripped, bathroom was a bit dirty and no hand soap, main shower head didn't work, and shower temperature went from freezing to boiling with not much in between. TV was broken and not a smart TV so pretty useless. Staff were friendly and helpful but kept disappearing so we nearly missed our bus in the morning as we couldn't check out. The window on the room didn't shut properly or lock.

Room was comfortable and location was good, with easy access to the main area but quiet.

After the first disappointment we (mentally) arranged and actually had an enjoyable stay. We did not complain to the staff, because well the price is very good. And the location is good, it's so close to the busy roads of cat ba.

The fridge was not working properly. The AC was working somehow, not good but still. In the shower we had the options of cold or burning hot water, with only one teeny tiny spot you had to find to actually be able to shower. The slippers were disgusting. The bed sheets had many small and big holes. And the TV was not working at all. And lots of dust. And mold. The q tips provided in the bathroom are molded even though they are wrapped in plastic.
