Corfiot Maisonette with shared Pool - Govino Bay

Very clean and good amount of space with 2 bedrooms and the full bath in the lower (basement) level and second bath just off the kitchen / living. The area and pool were relaxed and pleasant.

The staircase is much worse than the pictures show. They do not show any pictures of the top of the stairs. There is a strange platform halfway across the opening in the floor that you must use to enter the main level bathroom. Then there is a gaping hole down to the spiral stairs with no handrail. You have to essentially crawl up and down the stairs due to lack of headroom and handrails. We managed but if you have anyone in your group that is young, old or has mobility issues do not stay here. Main level shower was unusable because it doesn’t drain and creates a waterfall down the stairs, which are directly outside the bathroom door. No laundry options in unit or on site.

Nice, airy living room and coffee provided.

Very small windy staircase down to bedroom. Very difficult to get large bags downstairs.

arrived late, which we told in advance. I made several phone calls, so that I can pick up the keys. a gentleman came, shouting a name I had no clue about, but he spoke no English at all. was a bit chaotic. then the lady handing over the apartment spoke no English either. eventually we understood each other, but was a bit difficult.

I don't think the pictures reflect the reality. I arrived with my parents, and the stairs to the rooms were so so steep, it was even for me difficult to go up and down. rooms are in the basement level, a bit smelly...

Fabulous pool and beach access. A good location for exploring the island with reasonable bus routes

Very basic, not the biggest kitchen for preparing meals and a slightly tricky narrow spiral staircase
