Modern Apartment, Free Parking & Monthly Savings

We booked this apartment for a week and were initially quite pleased, as it is actually looked very nice at the pictures and also offers an excellent location. From there, it is easy and convenient to make trips into the city – definitely a strong plus.

Unfortunately, the current condition of the apartment does not live up to this positive first impression. Overall, the apartment felt quite worn down. There were several issues: stains on the walls, a non-functioning shower drain, and a generally insufficient level of cleanliness. It seemed as though the apartment had not been thoroughly cleaned or vacuumed before our arrival. As a result, we purchased cleaning supplies ourselves and did some basic cleaning. In addition, some items in the apartment were no longer working properly. The most problematic issue, however, was the water situation: for several days, there was no hot water, so we had to take cold showers on four out of seven days. This was especially unpleasant with a small child. We informed the hosts via Booking.com about the issue with the cold water, but unfortunately received no response or support during our stay. In summary, the apartment has great potential – particularly because of its location and overall charm. However, its current condition and the lack of service do not meet expectations and should be urgently improved.

Worst holiday let EVER. Please look at all of the pictures attached to this review - absolute filth!! Lauren and Remi @ RL ACCOMMODATIONS, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself for having this property online and taking people’s good hard earned money when the apartment is in such a disgusting state. You both are a DISGRACE! There were so many issues it was unbelievable!!!! When I checked in late at night, the heating had been left on from the afternoon and it was on 30.5 DEGREES! The entire communal hallway was scorching hot like a sauna, but what really angered me the most is the fact that these hosts LIVE IN LEICESTER! They claim this property has been vacant for a month, but all of these issues in the pics don’t occur in an apartment that has been unoccupied for a month. Just look at the over frozen freezer! Where are your regular checkups when your company address is approx 15 mins away? You didn’t think it would be appropriate to do a property inspection when according to yourselves, the property have been vacant for 31 days? There is no excuse IMO apart from greed, poor management skills and a huge lack of care and PRIDE in the homes they manage - & I said this with chest as several of my friends have had similar issues with their other holiday let’s! I also didn’t appreciate the harassing DMs after I brought to their attention that I was able to get in touch with the landlord. Every single time I left the apartment which triggered the motion sensor on the video doorbell I would receive a DM from them. I left feeling extremely uncomfortable, borderline depressed and in a state of heightened anxiety and panic. I only chose to reply back after I checked out but it was such a horrific experience, one that could really really affect someones mental health... I don’t recommend this apartment or booking with RL ACCOMMODATION at all. Shame on both of you and all your incentivised reviews on the other holiday lets site!!

Really central, close to the curve theatre which we were visiting on the Saturday night. Kitchen with all you need. Lovely bathroom with great shower. Spacious and comfortable, parking space was a bonus.

The sofa was a sofa bed and very small, so not overly comfortable. There was no hairdryer, which I have brought to the attention of the owner and no mirror in the bedroom to do hair, make up etc.

Very clean and tidy apartment. Perfect for any stay

The sofa bed mattress might need to be replaced soon and the spare duvets to be replaced with new ones or covers
