Beautifully decorated, had everything you could ask for in terms of kitchen equipment and local information. Raffaele is a gracious host and is very knowledgeable about the area. The vouchers for pastries from the passticeria downstairs were a fantastic added bonus. Herculaneum was only half an hours walk away.

Our stay at Raffaele's place was a highlight of our 2 week Italian adventure. His hospitality, welcome, and care of us throughout the stay was far beyond anything we have experienced anywhere else. We awoke every morning to great smells from the bakery below and looked forward to our pastries, which were included in the stay. One morning our son called in our order in Italian (using the prompts Raffaele left us) and we retrieved them by basket- the Napoli way! Such fun. One block away are stores and fabulous restaurants. It was in the center of town, but never noisy. The kitchen was well-supplied and decor of the apartment was lovely. There was plenty of room for our family of three adults. We really appreciated the washing machine. The apartment was centrally located to get to Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum or Vesuvius. We brought a car, and parking was convenient in a nearby lot. We had all we needed and more for a wonderful stay. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

It was very well maintained and well designed with thoughtful consideration to the items in the house that made our stay very comfortable. The host Rafaelle was beyond amazing- made us feel completely at home. The house is close to the station and some lovely food places. The host was extremely helpful with tourist queries and went over and above anything we’ve experienced before! We hope to return again ! Highly recommended!!

Raffaele made our holidays perfect. He was very helpful in every situation. We are grateful that we could be guests in his beautiful holiday home. We recommend his house to anyone who wants to visit Pompeji, Vesuv, Herculaneum etc. Perfect for a trip there.

Well appointed, clean, airy, great guest experience

It really was perfect for our stay

Our host was amazing, providing so much history and information! The apartment is beautiful decorated and very clean. The kitchen is well supplied. We were able to cook dinner every evening. The washing machine was greatly appreciated and clothes line worked well. The baked goods were exceptional. This the perfect place to visit Pompeii, Mt Vesuvius, Sorrento and Naples! We traveled on the local train and bus which was very cost effective.

Absolutely amazing property with an unbelievable Raffaele our host who taught of everything a traveller would need to enjoy an amazing holiday!! Any traveller visiting the Napoli region you must stay at this location, perfectly positioned to reach places like Ercolano, Pompey, Sorrento and all the Amalfi Coast using the Circumvesuviana train line and Ferry, we got absolutely spoiled by Raffaele with all the comfortable beds,taking our suitcases to our room, the delicious local sweet treats on the house every morning, and all the fantastic advice about places to visit and how to go about it getting there!!!10/10

There wasn’t a thing we didn’t like about our stay!!

Everything was great. An easy (slightly) downhill walk from the train station and Raffaele was waiting for us. The apartment is very tastefully decorated, large, clean and comfortable. It was easy to get to both Herculaneum and Pompeii from there, as well as Sorrento. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Noisy neighbours, but they live there and I don't.
