High quality room, clean, good location, peaceful atmosphere. The owners were very helpful and kind.

Recently refurbished both inside and outside to a very high standard. Clearly overseen by someone with a keen eye for the detail and very good taste. Communication from initial booking to arrival excellent thanks to Matteo who is the Manager at the property. Our room was lake facing with a balcony. Beautiful view. Property is at the south end of Cannobio and I would say this is the best location, very quiet at night but only a short stroll to the bars and restaurants. There is a grassed area in front of the property and sun beds can be hired from the Rivalago. It’s a public area but not busy during our stay early July. Breakfast is a cold buffet with a great choice and immaculately presented. Scrambled eggs and bacon available and cooked to order. There is a bar that is open to eight o’clock approximately. Both Matteo and Gaia who was also always on hand were clearly keen that your stay went beyond expectations. This property is a real find that I would happily recommend to friends and family. The property has secure parking which was a must for me and a rarity in Cannobio. It is approximately a 15 minute walk to the car park. This was not a problem for us but you may want to contact Matteo if you have specific requirements.

Beautiful hotel in a great location at the end of the promenade. Spotless and large room. Very friendly couple running the hotel.

The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Can't think of a thing. Only wish it was warm enough to swim in the lake and take advantage of the lakeside lawn.
