Walton's Homestay, Fort Cochin

Waltons Homestay was quite simply fantastic in all aspects. I was greeted by Mr Walton who provided a hand drawn map with recommendations for food, drinks, cultural sites and the best ways to travel around Fort Kochi. The rooms were clean, air conditioned and provided all necessities. Breakfast was ideal and provided a pleasant way to meet the rest of the Walton family. The location is central and provided a good location to travel from. If I am ever again in the area I will be sure to come back to Waltons Homestay.

The nicest place we stayed in Kerala. A very interesting host, a perfect, comfortable room in a lovely garden, a perfect location. It can't be beaten, including for the price. Highly recommended.

Mr Walton is a charming and welcoming host. His advice on arrival was very helpful highlighting places to visit, eat and drink. The Homestay is ideally located close to the seafront and all sorts of shops, cafes and bars many in the same street. The freshly prepared breakfast was a great way to start the day.

Watch out for the mosquitoes!

We had an exceptional experience at Walton’s Homestay! The location is perfect, surrounded by lush greenery, and the property is beautifully maintained, offering a serene and quiet environment at night. The hosts were outstanding—warm, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. Mr. Walton and his daughter are the absolute sweetest and provided excellent guidance, answering all our questions about the area. The room was incredibly comfortable and made our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved visiting Walton’s boutique, run by Mr. Walton’s youngest daughter, where we picked up some lovely items. Highly recommend this gem!

Nothing. Do carry mosquito repellents when you step outside your room. They are inevitable.
