Nestia Retreats Ano Poli Apartments

It was a great experience to stay in the beautiful appartment at a great location in Thessaloniki. It is perfect for relaxing on the balcony, going out to highlights or nightlife at walking distance and to have a quite sleep in one of the perfect beds. The host is exceptionally pleasant in making you feel welcome and comfortable with the appartment and super supportive with good places to visit

Was a decent size and was about 30 minutes from the centre.

The host was very hostile and aggressive. On our first night the fridge leaked all over the kitchen floor. We cleaned this up and sorted it so it would stop but we had to use towels from the apartment as we didn’t have anything else. The host was very angry that we had used the towels - we wished we had just not done anything. Due to this aggression we struggled to feel relaxed in the apartment for our stay. The WiFi does not work in the apartment so it is jot to be relied upon. We asked if all beds could be set up as we didn’t know the sleeping arrangements for our group. The host accepted this, but then mid stay accused us of lying and committing some sort of fraud. Our group left at different times and when the last person left they were accosted by the host in the street outside the apartment. The host shouted and swore at them making them feel very unsafe and unsure what they were going to do next. The host then started to send aggressive & offensive messaged to myself over Whatsapp. I had to block the host’s number after this point. If you were to stay here I would recommend not using Whatsapp to contact them and only use the Booking.com chat feature, just in case something similar happens.
