No aircon in living areas. The walk from the garden gate to beach not safe for bare feet...- glass and broken tiles...beware.
GBWithin a couple of days we had made the cottage our own home, coming and going as we pleased , ordering food in or cooking it ourselves. A Hypermarket 3 minute walk away had almost everything we needed but we also visited the exceptional Lulu Mall which is considered amongst the best in the whole of Asia. For our party of 5 there were sufficient bedrooms and bathrooms, a quite and secluded garden and a 5 minute walk to a lovely beach , spoilt only by people littering the beach with plastic bottles, sandals and other rubbish. This beach unlike others we visited was never cleaned during our stay Very safe location with cctv around the perimeter and an excellent caretaker,Mr Vincent. Excellent driver, Ashok, also sourced for us by Joyce Cottage. Apart from being a very experienced professional driver, his local knowledge proved invaluable and he was always amenable to our own schedule which we often changed at the last moment.
The hot water geysers were not large enough to heat up hot water sufficiently but not a major problem for us as the weather was hot throughput our stay. Some updating of the furniture and furnishings necessary to attract people used to 4 or 5 star facilities. Was our first experience of a home stay and very pleased with our choice but may not be suitable for a smaller party

INThe location was very good. Next to the beach, outside the hustle and bustle of the city but nearby too for Zomato and Taxi to come.
The TV area could benefit with a ceiling fan, as the living room doesnt have Air conditioning. We had to sit in the bedroom as the TV area was getting too hot and the wall fan wasn't sufficient during the day.
ININEverything about this is beyond what we need.
There were no fans in the tv area.
