We arrived late but Reine was there personally to hand over the keys. She explained briefly about the property, surrounding areas and facilities in the Area. Excellent location, not far from the town.

Owner very friendly and went out of her way to give us coloring books for our children. Had a length productive discussion with owner. Many extras in the room eg chocolate, coffee, soap etc. Have both shower and tub.

Comfortable beds, good shower & hot water, well equipped little kitchen, electric blankets, fireplace, excellent walking, lovely host.

Sparrowhawk is better suited to a family than all adults. Perfect however if you're out all day.

Location Simple, a bit rustic but Clean neat and comfortable. Has everything you need. Our host Reine was excellent. Very hospitable and obliging. Natural surroundings Absolutely excellent value for money They even provided tea, coffee (2 types) not cheap stuff, 1lt milk, rusks even chocolates. I may even be missing a few things. Emergency lights, firewood. Really cool Wouldn't hesitate to book again

What a lovely place. We so enjoyed our time there and will be back The views from our chalet, Jackal Buzzard, especially the top bedroom was stunning . The furnishings were very tasteful and artistic. and the beds and bedding were extremely comfortable There were so many thoughtful touches such as the ongoing supply of wood, the tasty buttermilk rusks and the delightful, helpful nature of Reiner who really went the extra mile to assist us. We could not ask for better hosts .I also loved the natural spring where I swam on the property. There are many activities nearby such as the Spoor trails at the Olde Duck offering various lengths of easy to moderate walking. We also loved the Parksboard hikes at Drakensberg gardens about 25 km drive especially the beautiful 3 pools hike. For a really delicious meal out , we enjoyed the restaurant at Moorcroft manor in Himeville.

Excellent location Staff were excellent and very welcoming and met all of our requests and serviced the unit each day. Very well equipped with all that’s needed
