Once in Ella

A big room with good space around the bed. A little seating arrangement on the porch with a view of the garden (it felt like being in the jungle :-) ) An interested and caring host The breakfast was rich and very tasteful - it mixed elements from continental with traditional Sri Lankan - interesting, freshly prepared with care. Wi-Fi was the best we have met in Sri Lanka

Walking to-from the place includes a very steep road, a little hard (especially after a rich breakfast) but probably healthy. No light on the road down to the place, so remember a torch when going for dinner.

This is exactly the kind of place I like. It’s run on a personal bases, it is really quiet, it’s like staying in the jungle with the sound of nature. Lovely hosts a complete non corporate experience with great breakfast

A/C would have been nice as would a insect screen on the door so it would be possible to keep the door open at night.

The location of the hotel is not very convenient for a car. but you can park a little higher. but the place is good, sometimes the monkeys come

this was a wonderful stay with beautifully kind staff, I was made to feel so welcomed and they went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe as a female solo traveller.

to get to and from the property it is a steep hill to climb, I was fine doing it and I’m sure you could get a tuk tuk up and down but I would be prepared.

The room was super clean, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. it's located near Ella town, so you can easily explore the area. The guest house is surrounded by a lush jungle with some chill bird sounds, which creates perfect ambiance to unwind and relax. The place is newly built and has a cool design.

Lovely and caring family that made us feel like home. Bright room with the jungle view. If you want a true Sri Lankan experience, we recommend the place for 100%. Breakfast was good

A bit noisy by the night but it wasn’t a big of a deal as it is a jungle experience.
