Villa Lombok Sunset w/Sea view

The view is amazing and sunsets are spectacular, once you arrive you would like not to go away ever! The house is very well maintained and equipped, probably one of the best in the area, it gives you immediately the sensation that it's a perfect place to spend holidays with family and friends, we were very happy at the arrival. Also the manager is very kind and polite, we felt at home immediately. Wifi is perfect (30Mbit download / 10Mbit upload) and I could perfectly work remotely from here using Zoom/Teams and emails.

After 2 days you realize that there are some crucial things to consider: the villa is constantly under a burning sun from 10.30 in the morning until 17.00 (about an hour before sunset), during this time it's impossible to stay out in the terrace (there are no sun shadowers, it's too hot outside) and the swimming pool area is made of full concrete or stones and gets totally burning. So we had to stay inside most of the day, which is a nonsense as we couldn't enjoy the place we paid for. Also the stairs to arrive up to the villa are so many and to climb up when it's very hot is exhausting. This is a very big pity as the house is wonderful, but in this way you can't enjoy it properly. We talked with the manager about this and he was very kind to offer an alternative accommodation, but in the end we decided to stay there. It's a wonderful house but some changes are needed: put shadowers in the terrace to be able to stay out during the day, change some of the pool area with grass instead of concrete (it would keep the temperature cooler), put air conditioners also in the living/dining area.

House is not well maintained and not cleaned properly. Air conditioner units smelled like mold, bathrooms and kitchen ware visibly dirty and sticky, curtains had stains. Kitchen was also smelling like moisture and lack of cleaning. This is super sad as the house has great potential and if it was properly maintained and cleaned regularly I would rate it 10/10. The host tried to react to our complains but getting that state remediated requires deep and intense cleaning/renovation, not one time quick cleaning.

The seaview was beautiful overseeing the ocean & mountain and also with sunset viewing. Location was quite good especially if you rent & drive or ride. Clean rooms equipped with everything that we need. Bed was big enough for 2 adults in all rooms.The Wi-Fi also has strong connection & can log in to Netflix. Great accommodation for big family or group of friends.

Need vehicle to drive up to villa. Then the stairs going up to villa are quite steep. Not recommended for the elderly or with very young infants.
