The Bolingbroke Hotel

The pub/restaurant was cosy, the onsite parking was convenient, the food (dinner and breakfast) and drink were good. The staff were friendly and capable. The room was well laid out, bright, and had good storage.

The walls between the rooms were thin enough to hear even low conversation of neighbouring guests.

Convenient for my purpose of stay (wedding locally)

When booked showed it had a bar and restaurant, however, on my day of arrival I was informed by text earlier in the day both would be closed! Not good considering I had booked with this facility expected. I was offered breakfast but didn’t require this due to the early start I would have. Room was comfortable but shower poor, shower head did not stay in position and water pressure extremely poor, shower doors did not close properly. Desk top very sticky as though cleaned with a dirty cloth.

Amazing staff fabulous food and very clean.

The matress in my room was not great could feel the springs and water pressure in the shower very low.

Friendly, amenable staff. I needed to work all day after giving up my room in the morning. The staff found me a side room and let me work on my own all day. The bed was really comfy and the hotel was very quiet all night. Good shower and very rural, peaceful setting.
