Great little rural getaway for a couple of nights to explore the local area including Tyneham, Swanage & Corfe. A real chocolate box country pub located right across the road with fantastic selection of Ales and food. A real bonus to staying here.

A beautiful peaceful place to stay , very clean comfortable and well presented , perfect location wise for what we wanted to do , gilly met us on arrival with a warm welcome ,booked us a table at the sailors return ,thankyou for your hospitality xx

The location and hosts were fantastic. Gilly and her husband were super flexible with our arrival and were so friendly. Ideal location perfect to get around easily and see as much as possible . We will be back ! Thank you so so much x

Nothing too much trouble for Gilly & Simon. T3 fitted unfussily, solid, nothing missed and comfy, everything thought of. Modern-day rarity too - a wardrobe! Plenty of lengthy mirrors to make oneself up before, should one be inclined. Wetroom and its astounding squeegee. Kitchenette, both rooms boasting War of the Worlds type trifold automatic fan covers. Large, comfy bed. Do try the amazing 'Sailor's Return' (I reviewed on 'Find my GF' & Google Maps), whose parking area I had to emply to successfully swing onto Tumbleweek drive. Loved my stay - quiet, not too out-of-the-way, picturesque sights (Five Marys viewpoint), every amenity & destination sufficiently close. Scenic, secluded patio to eat out, overlooking fields and Chaldon Herring village. Plus TESCO deliver from Dorchester, too!

Drive entry steep and too tight to successfully approach from the road for me.

Great location, beautifully clean, everything you need, fabulous pub across the road.

The property is in a nice and quiet village. Very clean, spacious back garden. All the necessary amenities and well presented.
