The only aspect I liked was the location. As a summer student and tourist, it was the cheapest and closest accommodation to my university and the city of LA.

The room didn’t match the photos—much smaller, not very clean, dirty bed linens, no washing machine, and missing basic kitchen tools like a water boiler. The worst part was the management. I arrived on June 28th and waited over an hour outside because no one was there to let me in. A man I assumed was staff eventually placed me in an individual room, saying my bunk bed was still occupied. On the third night around 11pm, I was woken up aggressively by two people I didn’t know. The woman—apparently the manager—demanded I leave the room immediately, saying she wouldn’t charge me extra or report me to Booking.com, even though their own staff had placed me there. I felt confused, scared, and treated like a criminal. Thankfully, the man convinced her it was too late to move me, so I stayed until morning. She never apologized, was always rude, and to this day I don’t even know her name, phone number, or any contact info. To make things worse, I was locked out on July 7th after the front door code was changed without notice. I only got back in because another tenant happened to arrive and shared the new code. On July 23rd, the same thing happened, but worse: it was 11:30pm, I urgently needed the bathroom, and ended up having to break into the house. A resident later gave me the new code, which he received via a WhatsApp group—for long-term guests only. It seems the manager thinks she can treat guests however she wants just because the place stays full due to low prices. But that’s no excuse for rudeness, disorganization, and unsafe situations. She also can’t blame a language barrier—I speak and understand Spanish perfectly. This was purely a lack of professionalism and basic respect. I’ve attached two photos: the first was a large bunk bed room from the original listing (which has since been removed), and the second is what I actually found—a cramped, cluttered room with three bunk beds squeezed into a tiny space (see attached image).

Absolutely nothing did not stay I ran from this place!!!! Absolutely horrible from communication to the entire place!;this place is a scam there linked with several homes they are horrible...they take your money and do not refund or respond. I will be calling code enforcement along with a lawyer. Because this is absolutely ridiculous to take advantage of hard working people. There was serious health n safety hazards,open electrical outlet,the bathroom shower had no head,filthy, toilets overflow with feces,roaches, bedbugs,oh and a drug pipe in the room I booked not to mention I'm dirty sheets no pillow no blankets the mattress was on floor, no sir circulation,mold and water damage, a filthy cat litter pan out in open,did I mention the smell no working electrical in bathroom no lights. Awful just awful!!!!! And they refuse to give your money back they say they will then don't answer..... something really needs to be done about these people!!!

Only one bath had hot water. Room didn't even have a working fan. No instructions to find the place and was given incorrect gate code. Overall bad experience.

⭐ 1-Star Review False location, zero support, and the worst check-in experience I’ve ever had. This stay was a complete disaster from start to finish — and Booking.com should seriously reconsider allowing this property to remain on their platform. First, the directions and property address listed were completely inaccurate, leading me to the wrong location. The check-in and check-out times provided were also wrong, leaving me stranded late at night trying to figure out how to access the room. When I reached out to customer support, things only got worse: • There was no on-site staff who spoke English, making communication nearly impossible. • Booking.com’s support ran me around for over an hour, bouncing me between multiple phone calls in the middle of the night, directing me to rooms that either didn’t exist or weren’t mine. • Eventually, it was a local — not Booking.com — who helped point me to a bed that was available. Meanwhile, the property was in terrible condition: • Construction work was being done on the pipes, with materials and hazards left in the middle of walkways, creating a dangerous and chaotic environment. • There was no meaningful customer service on-site to help with anything. When I requested a refund, I was: • Met with resistance and delays, having to bargain for over 90 minutes and make multiple calls just to be told no again and again. • Eventually, they only offered partial help after exhausting every option — far too late, and far too little. This was not just inconvenient — it was misleading, unsafe, and completely unacceptable. The property description was false, the support system failed, and Booking.com’s handling of the situation was deeply unprofessional. There was no breakfast,linen not changed from previous,language issue,orientation to areas to use & not,lock #, rooms not cleaned daily

No pots & pans,cutlery, I got some not be offended by them
