Cleopatra Luxury Beach Resort Makadi Bay - Adults only

Nothing really to like - the score of 8.7 tells you everything you need to know about the place.

They just don't tell you that it's a German resort and everyone speaks German including the waiters that are almost aggressive angling for tips. Everyone has some kind of aggression wanting tips

We stayed at the Adults Only section. The resort is spacious with all facilities: 3 restaurants, bars, gym, shisha lounge, disco and others. The staff especially the animation team are super friendly and fun. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful view. There is lots of greenery around. Most importantly, the food was pretty good and diverse.

The resort is not in Hurghuda - it is in Makadi Bay (10km far from center). There is nothing around the resort, but we did not mind because we spent all our time in the resort. There was no need to leave the resort in the 1st place. The water at the beach was very shallow - don't expect to swim by the shore. There is coral reef but it is not beautiful - dry and grey. The price of the resort is very high compared to others in the area. Most of the people attending are 50+ years old, so don't expect to meet young people :)
