Lovely double room with private bathroom and Double room with shared toilet & PARKING FREE

Room was clean and a reasonable size and had own toilet and bathroom, bed was comfy.

The flat block looked like it was in a rough part of town, a bit dirty on the outside. A shower would have been useful in the bathroom. The lock on the bedroom door was very poor quality and was half falling out of the door, only small padlock on this lock which could have easily have been broken into. There were tea bags provided but no coffee, sugar, or milk and although there were a couple of small cups provided, no spoons were supplied. When the owner came in we tried to ask her about milk but she couldn't speak English and asked us to speak the question into her phone which didn't work, luckily the couple next door gave us some milk for our tea in the morning.

The lady who cleans was very nice, location was central

Lot of problems getting the key, code was incorrect and information on how to find it was incomplete. The bed was absolutely horrible and the neighborhood was quite bad

Did not get access to property as owner never gave clear instructions on how to pick up keys. I was sent 2 photos of keys/ location of keys but no number which block they were located. No code for key box. Phoned owner 11 times when at location to aks which block flat was but never answered. I also emailed owner but no reply. I contacted booking.com for help but they were not able to resolve this. Basically paid just over £100 for 1 night stay and ended up had to head back home to Glasgow after theatre show in Edingburgh. Poor service from owner. It could have been avoided if owner had replied to my email and calls on the day.

La casa sembrava abitata, come se non fosse un vero e proprio alloggio, ma una casa in cui qualcuno abita, con una stanza per gli ospiti. Il bagno era pieno di prodotti usati e aperti, penso da chi ci abita. Siamo stati punti dai bed bugs, le cimici del letto. Oltretutto, la proprietaria non mi aveva mandato né il numero civico, né il codice per entrare, dunque siamo rimasti in questo luogo pieno di palazzoni e house with benefits (case popolari), con gente non troppo raccomandabile intorno, con le valige as aspettare e chiamare la signora che, ovviamente, non rispondeva. Non c'è bisogno di dire che avevamo già pagato. Dunque, ho contattato booking, che ha provato a contattarla senza successo, dopo averle mandato una mail dove booking la informava che se entro 20 minuti non avesse risposto, saremmo stati rimborsati.. inutile dire che, dopo questa mail, ha risposto subito al telefono. Mai più e lo sconsiglio a tutti. Ho avuto l'impressione che sia stato un tentativo di truffa.
